My sweet Dixie is expecting Christmas puppies. Due date is around November 1, 2012. Puppies will be ready for their forever homes just in time for Christmas. Dixie usually throws chocolate, cream and black puppies. It will be interesting to see what input my red labradoodle (Rusty) has on the coloring of this litter. She has gorgeous puppies. My Annie is actually one of her puppies.
Dixie was my first labradoodle. She was born January 5, 2008. She made me fall in love with the breed. She was orginally named Dixie. Then she started whistling and I would tell her, "you are not just whistling Dixie" and the name Whistlin' Dixie just stuck. She has been a joy from the minute we brought her home. She is funny, smart, and just a wonderful dog. Dixie has gorgeous puppies: creams, chocolates, and black, and she is a wonderful mother. She can catch a frisbee with the most beautiful jumps and twists. She jumps like a kangaroo - we call this "rooing". So, as you can see Dixie wears many hats, but the most important hat she wears is my being my baby. I just can't say enough about this dog. I just love my Whistlin' Dixie.
